Summer in Brussels

Summer in Brussels

There are a lot of rather pedestrian videos of Brussels on YouTube, including one in which an annoyingly Canadian sounding guy marvels at the Grand' Place, which he admits to never having known about despite visiting Brussels a "half-dozen" times before... What a maroon.

Anyway, this video is much better, showing some sights on a lovely summer's day. The director wisely skips any narration, leaving the soundtrack to Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli. Enjoy...

Time Capsule

The Bulletin, Brussels' expat weekly magazine, has finally gotten around to turning its blog into an actual blog. I blogged there for a week back in March and will do so again in the future. Click here for to read what was going through my early morning head during a week earlier this year.

The Expatriate

What happens when an unsuspecting marketing executive is transferred abroad and finds more international intrigue than he bargained for? Find out in my Dad's excellent first novel, The Expatriate, available from Amazon and Barnes & Noble and from iUniverse.com. Cool title.
